"Mario's
Furniture": A Mushkin-Barnet Game for Ages 2 to 200
Concieved,
created and played by:
Hillary Mushkin & S.E.
Barnet
Curated by: Chloé R. Ziegler
In this real life game you move objects in the two spaces of human and
miniature scale, while racing against the camera's ceaseless rotation.
The object is to maintain the illusion of perspective
and the integrity of the mise-en-scene. Mario's Furniture is both played
and exhibited in the gaming space whereby the position of the viewer becomes
that of the gamer.
This piece was created specifically for Mario's Furniture and played on
June 7th & 8th, 2002.
